(Houston-AP) -- Two Oklahomans have been named to the board of newly formed oil giant ConocoPhillips Incorporated.
University of Oklahoma president David Boren and retired chairman and CEO Frank McPherson of Kerr-McGee Corporation are the Oklahomans on the board.
Phillips and Conoco each supplied seven outsiders to the board. Two insiders were added to round out the 16-member board.
The two companies officially merged last week.
