People in Nowata can't believe what has happened to the city's cemetery. Vandals knocked over the headstones of more than 50 graves.

It happened sometime either late Saturday night or early Sunday morning. Now while work is underway to fix the damage, police are looking for who is responsible.

Richard Eden, Nowata resident, "This is ridiculous really that someone would do our graveyard this way."

Brad Boyles, Nowata Police Chief, "This is my cemetery. I plan on being buried here. I've got family buried here. So the people of Nowata deserve a big apology from the people who have done this."

Police believe the vandalism may be the work of bored teenagers. Whoever is responsible will likely face 56 charges of vandalism.
