(Nashville, Tennessee-AP) -- Oklahoma native Toby Keith is nominated for eight Country Music Association awards, including best entertainer and best male vocalist.

Alan Jackson has the most nominations with ten.

Keith, who lives near Norman, has other nominations including best album for ``Pull My Chain,'' best song for ``Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue'' and best video for ``I Wanna Talk About Me.'' He is nominated twice as a producer.

Fellow Oklahoman Garth Brooks is also nominated for a CMA award in the best vocal event category. Brooks and George Jones are nominated for ``Beer Run.''
