(Dallas-AP) -- An Oklahoma native is the Big 12 special teams player of the week.

Nebraska kicker and Foyil native Josh Brown was named Monday after kicking 40- and a 42-yard field goals and hitting all six PAT attempts.

Brown also kicked off nine times for the Cornhuskers with eight going into the end zone and seven were downed for touchbacks.

Iowa State quarterback Seneca Wallace and Nebraska cornerback Pat Ricketts are the offensive and defensive players of the week.
