A tip from observant citizen early Friday morning led to the arrest of several people for stealing beer from Drillers stadium near 15th and Yale.

Around 4 Friday morning, a newspaper carrier saw the suspects climbing a fence at the stadium and called police with a description of their vehicle. Deputies spotted the van a few blocks away and after a search they found two kegs of beer inside.

Tulsa County Sheriffâ€™s office Deputy Jerry Quinton, "we have paper carrier that has actually caught burglars in progress. And because of his quick response on the phone it helped us to capture them."

Four people and one juvenile were taken into custody. Charges are pending.
