Some young Tulsa students did some back to school shopping Thursday. About 40 students from the Salvation Army Mabee Red Shield Boys and Girls Club were treated to a special shopping spree.
Each child got one pair of shoes and a six-pack of socks. Williams Communications, Tulsa Global Alliance, and several other organizations raised money for the shoes. Mercedes Millberry with Tulsa Global Alliance, "we're helping these local kids step into the school year on the right foot."
All that shopping made the kids hungry, so they were also treated to a pizza party.
