(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Police say a pastor who thought he was helping a homeless man ended up getting kidnapped at knifepoint.

A police report says The Reverend Robert Gilbert was leaving church Monday night when he was approached by a man asking for help.

The Anadarko pastor let the man into his car and the man pulled a switchblade out and demanded a ride to Oklahoma City.

Gilbert told police he drove the man to Oklahoma City and was robbed of some cash when the man left the car.

Police were unable to find the man. He is described as a white male, five-foot-nine inches tall, with brown eyes and hair.
