Tulsa Police are warning businesses to beware of thieves in the night.
Burglars broke into five restaurants. They actually made it inside four of them and got cash from three. The thieves hit Mahogany's Steakhouse and Charleston's on South Yale. They also targeted Piccadilly’s, Lone Star and Marie Callenders on 51st.
Police say the M-O was the same. The burglars cut the phone lines to disable the alarm systems. Then they went in through the roof or a back door and each time, headed straight for the store safe. Tulsa Police Sgt Mark Sherwood, Burglary Squad: "They had knowledge of alarm systems and knowledge of safes, which leads us to believe they've done this before."
If you have information about these break-ins, you can call Crimestoppers at 596-COPS.
