(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Frontier Airlines says it will begin offering two daily nonstop flights from Denver to Oklahoma City.

Denver-based Frontier says the flights give travelers a second option for the trip to Denver. United Airlines has controlled the market for most of the past ten years.

Frontier will offer round-trip tickets for $212 if they're ordered before September 17th. The regular price hasn't been set.

The Denver to Oklahoma City flights are to begin on October 22nd.
