One of Tulsa's largest furniture stores says it's filing for chapter 11 bankruptcy.

Halsey's Furniture at 51st and Sheridan blames a bad economy for its problems. The company says the bankruptcy will allow it to reorganize its debt, and make it financially stronger.

Halsey's does "not" plan to close its doors or layoff any employees.
