The Claremore Catholic priest this week accused of sexual misconduct from 25 years ago is suing the man who made the accusations.

The suit calls the allegations "so extreme and outrageous and so calculated to injure Father Paul Eichhoff that such accusations cannot be tolerated." Father Eichhoff is suing for actual and punitive damages. The family named in the lawsuit is hiring an attorney and isnâ€™t commenting on the suit. But they did say they reported the allegations to their Tulsa parish priest on July 10th. It wasn't released to Tulsa Police until Thursday.

Father Eichhoff has not been charged with any crime, but he has been put on administrative leave from his current position in Claremore.

On the Father Ken Lewis case, Tulsa Police say they're about halfway through with interviewing alleged victims.
