(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Oklahoma City police have completed a criminal investigation into the videotaped arrest of a black man by two white police officers.
Police Chief M-T Berry says the report will be given to the district attorney and he hopes to meet with the prosecutor tomorrow. Berry says the report contains no recommendation and that the prosecutor will determine whether any charges will be filed.
The videotape shows officers Greg Driskill and E-J Dyer hitting Donald Pete about two dozen times with batons as they tried to handcuff him. The incident led to an outcry from black leaders in the city.
A separate investigation is under way by the F-B-I into possible civil rights violations.
City officials also promise a review of the police department's policies on use of force, training and defense.
