(Washington-AP) -- The Environmental Protection Agency has cleared payments to clean up eleven toxic waste sites, including one in Oklahoma.

Three million dollars will be provided to clean up the Hudson Refinery site in Cushing.

EPA officials say a total of 27 million dollars is being made available to clean up eleven of 33 Superfund sites in 18 states.

The Superfund program was established by Congress in 1980 to find and clean up the worst areas where chemical dumping has created health hazards.
