Senior Adult Center in Broken Arrow now open

Elderly residents in Broken Arrow have a new place to go. The Donald W Reynolds Adult Day Services at 3106 South Juniper opened its doors a few weeks ago. <br><br>Sunday the center held an open house.

Elderly residents in Broken Arrow have a new place to go. The Donald W Reynolds Adult Day Services at 3106 South Juniper opened its doors a few weeks ago.

Sunday the center held an open house. The 13,000 square feet, multi-million dollar facility will provide specialized activities and programs for seniors to maximize their mental and physical abilities.

The executive director, Bill Major, says the center will give caregivers a break and allow seniors to make new friends.â€ From exercise to activities that stimulate their physical body activities that encourage them to think creatively, arts and crafts, mind games social activities, cards or board games with folks.â€

The center is expected to serve more than a hundred families a day in the surrounding area.
