OU gymnatics coach gets extra duties

(Norman-AP) -- The 2002 national gymnastics coach of the year is adding another title.

Oklahoma head men's gymnastics coach Mark Williams was named to the NCAA Men's Gymnastics Rules Committee.

The Sooner coach is one of three added to the committee. Williams will be on the floor for interpretations during the national championship meet.

His Sooners claimed the national title this year.

Williams has been the head coach since the 2000 season. He was an assistant at OU for 12 years before assuming the top spot.
