It is not all fun and games this holiday weekend. Some Oklahoma City residents have already received the scare of a lifetime.

Pranksters planted fireworks inside several mailboxes on the southside of the city, blowing them up. Residents caught the suspects in the act, and tried to catch them, but they got away. If caught they could face felony charges. Police say this is a dangerous game to play with peopleâ€™s lives.

Last year, seven people were treated for fireworks injuries in Oklahoma City.
