The man accused of impersonating an Army officer the morning of the I-40 bridge collapse will undergo a psychiatric examination.
Attorneys for William James Clark made the request, and federal prosecutors agreed. Clark has been indicted on charges of impersonating a federal officer, and unlawfully having a firearm. Prosecutors say Clark tried to take charge of the bridge collapse scene.
His mental evaluation could take up to ten weeks.
