(Edmond-AP) -- Matt Best of Pauls Valley shot a two-over-par 72 Thursday to win the American Junior Golf Association tournament in Edmond.

Best's 212 total for three rounds was one shot better than Andrew Dresser of Carrolton, Texas.

It's the first career AJGA victory for the 17-year-old Best.

The girls title went to Ashley Rollins of Austin, Texas. Her birdie on the third playoff hole gave her the victory over Taylor Leon of Sarasota, Florida.

The tournament was played at Oak Tree Country Club's East Course.
