An early morning fire chased a Tulsa family from their home. Firefighters were called to a home in east Tulsa around two-thirty Tuesday morning.

The homeowner woke up to find his air conditioner had quit. When he went outside to take a look, he saw flames in the attic. Everyone got out safely.

Damage to the home on 136th East Place is estimated at about $30,000. Officials believe an electrical problem is to blame for the fire.
