A man on Tennessee's death row made his initial appearance in an Mayes County court Friday afternoon.

Steven Thacker is on trial for the 1999 death of Laci Dawn Hill. She disappeared from her Bixby home on December 23rd and her body was found six days later in a Mayes County shack.

Over an eleven-day period, three people were killed. Thacker has already been convicted of murder in Tennessee and is charged in a Missouri case.
