(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Two baseball players with Oklahoma ties who were recent draft choices have signed professional contracts.
Edmond Santa Fe high school pitcher Brandon Weeden has signed with the New York Yankees and Oklahoma State second baseman Nebasett Brown has signed with Arizona.
The first Oklahoman selected in the draft is still unsigned.
First baseman-outfielder Corey Shafer of Choctaw was the 45th selection, taken by Baltimore. Shafer has signed a letter of intent with Oklahoma but says he expects to sign with the Orioles.
