(Irving-AP) -- The Dallas Stars have re-signed veteran left-wing Kirk Muller to a one-year contract for next season.
No terms were released.
The 36-year-old lineman scored ten goals and 20 assists in 78 games with Dallas last season. The six-foot, 205-pound Muller also totaled 28 penalty minutes.
Muller first signed with the Stars as a free agent in December 1999.
The New Jersey Devils made him the second overall pick in the 1984 N-H-L Entry Draft. Since then, the six-time All-Star has scored 356 goals and 597 assists with 12-hundred-five penalty minutes in almost 13-hundred games.
He was a member of the Montreal Canadiens' Stanley Cup title team of 1993.
