(Oklahoma City-AP) -- The Quarter Horse meeting at Remington Park has drawn to a close.

The main event Saturday was the 100-thousand-dollar Remington Park Championship.

The race favorite was Tailor Fit, the two-time AQHA world champion who had won the Remington Park Championship three straight times.

But Tailor Fit was denied the time, beaten by Bugs By Yawl in a close finish.

Live racing at Remington resumes with thoroughbreds in August.
