Some Tulsa students are stepping into historic shoes. The Arts and Humanities Council kicked off the 2002 Tulsa Chautauqua Monday evening at OSU's Tulsa campus.
Students portrayed historical figures such as Emily Dickinson and John Russworm. Chautauqua started in New York in 1874 as a training camp for Sunday school teachers. Since then it’s evolved into a vaudeville-style tent show for the humanities.
The Tulsa Chautauqua runs through June 8th.
