A tight budget year won't mean less scholarship money for college-bound students in Oklahoma.
In fact, about 800 more students will receive scholarships this fall to Oklahoma colleges and universities. It's part of a law that passed four years ago. It allows high school students with a 2.5 GPA and family incomes of less than $32,000 to be granted free college tuition.
The Legislature earmarked more than three million dollars for the higher education budget to pay for the scholarships.
