BETHANY, Okla. (AP) _ A small corporate jet ran off a runway during a failed takeoff at Wiley Post Airport, crossed a street and crashed through two fences, injuring one person aboard.

Five people on the Citation jet. One was taken to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries, said Karen Carney, spokeswoman for the Oklahoma City Department of Airports.

She didn't know why the airplane failed to take off.

Bethany Fire Chief Eddie Hogan said there were no hazards from spilled fuel or dangers to motorists near Wiley Post Airport after the 8 a.m. accident.

``That's not a heavily traveled roadway, especially at that time of day, and there weren't any problems,'' Hogan said.
