The cost of cable is on the rise again. Monthly cable bills received after June 15th will reflect a 6% increase for Cox Communications subscribers.
The rates are being adjusted to offset increases in operational expenses and overall programming costs. That means customers with basic cable will see an increase of 57 cents a month. Expanded basic goes up a $1.33. Complete basic will cost a $1.90 more a month. Customers who have the HBO/Encore/Starz package will see a $2.90 increase.
The rate increase affects residential customers in Tulsa, Broken Arrow, Coweta, Creek County, Owasso, Sand Springs, Sapulpa and Wagoner County.
