(Tulsa-AP) -- University of Tulsa women's basketball coach Kathy McConnell-Miller is reportedly a leading candidate for the vacant head coaching job at Vanderbilt.

Tulsa athletic media director Don Tomkalski says McConnell-Miller has talked with Vanderbilt athletic director Todd Turner.

McConnell-Miller has become the winningest women's coach in Tulsa history after just three years.

Vanderbilt is looking to replace Jim Foster, who resigned to become head coach at Ohio State. The Commodores have reached the Elite Eight of the N-C-double-A women's tournament each of the past two years.

Former Colorado State coach Tom Collen was introduced last week as Vanderbilt's new coach, but backed out after a discrepancy was found on his resume.
