OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Police arrested a man in connection with the assault of an 81-year-old woman found bound in her apartment last week.

Tyrone Bruner, 47, was jailed on complaints of kidnapping for extortion and sexual battery, jail records show. He was being held in lieu of $100,000 bail.

Bruner was arrested Friday night at the apartment complex where the woman also lived.

A day earlier, the on-site manager opened the woman's apartment door and found her tied up with a gag over her mouth. She was dehydrated.

Rescue workers took her to a local hospital, where she was treated for cuts on her wrists, neck and right cheek. Her condition was listed as fair Sunday night, a hospital spokeswoman said.

The woman may have been tied up at least two days. She had not left the apartment since Tuesday.
