STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) _ A high school player from Los Angeles has signed to play basketball at Oklahoma State, coach Eddie Sutton announced Friday.
Onye Ibekwe, a 6-foot-7, 230-pound forward, lettered four years at Crenshaw High School and was an all-league selection as a senior. He also was an all-city player in football and competed in track and field.
``He is a fierce competitor that is tough and athletic,'' Sutton said. ``He brings a lot of energy to the basketball court and we feel he can come in and contribute to next year's team.''
Previously, twin brothers Stephen and Joey Graham announced they plan to transfer to Oklahoma State from the University of Central Florida. Stephen Graham is a 6-6 guard; his brother is a 6-7 forward.
The Grahams will sit out next season.
