TULSA, Okla. (AP) _ Kenny James hit a grand slam and drove in seven runs Sunday, leading the Arkansas Travelers to a 14-6 victory over Tulsa in the Texas League.
James' first homer of the season, in the seventh inning, was one of six extra-base hits for the Travelers. He had previously had a bases-loaded walk and a two-run single.
Mike O'Keefe also homered for Arkansas. He had three hits, scored three times and drove in two runs.
The Travelers had 15 hits off seven pitchers. Tulsa starter Keith Stamler (2-3) lasted just two innings, allowing six hits and six runs.
Chris Bootcheck (4-4) got the victory, giving up five hits and striking out 10 in six innings.
Jason Jones and Juan Silvestre drove in two runs each for Tulsa.
