Broken Arrow students rolled up their sleeves Wednesday to give the gift of life.

The Red Cross provided the beds and bags, and high schoolers provided the blood. Students hoped to set a state record and donate 335 pints in one day by a single group. That translates into helping about a thousand people.

The Red Cross says it'll have the final tally sometime Thursday.
