An Oologah man is recovering Tuesday morning from a fire in his home. Crews from the Northwest Rogers County fire district responded to the fire around one o'clock.

The house was fully involved when they arrived. Officials say it appears the fire started in the back of the home. The owner did make it out. Firefighter, Todd Owens "Individual was inside, but he got out okay. He did receive minor injuries and was taken to the hospital by our EMS."

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
