TULSA, Okla. (AP) _ Douglas Garcia allowed one run in six innings and Gerald Laird homered as Tulsa beat San Antonio 2-1 Tuesday in a Texas League game.

Laird's solo shot tied the game at 1. In the sixth, Brian Oliver scored on a sacrifice fly by Ruben Rivera to put the Drillers ahead for good.

Ryan Christianson homered in the second for the Missions' only run.

Garcia (2-0) had four strikeouts.

Jason Ellison (1-2) took the loss for San Antonio.
