LUBBOCK, Texas (AP) _ Jake Brown went 2-for-3 and drove in four runs Sunday, leading Texas Tech to a 10-5 victory over Oklahoma.

Texas Tech (34-16, 13-11 Big 12), winner of nine straight, took sole possession of fourth place in the league after starting the series tied with Oklahoma (24-20, 8-10) for seventh.

The Raiders took a 1-0 lead in the second when Willie Durazo walked and scored after back-to-back errors by shortstop Denver Kitch.

The lead grew to 4-0 in the third on an RBI ground out by Gera Alvarez, an RBI double by Durazo and an RBI single by Travis McElroy.

Texas Tech starter Dusty Buck hit two batters in the fourth inning, and Oklahoma added three hits to pull within 4-3.

Trailing 6-4, Oklahoma put the tying runs in scoring position in the eighth with one out on a double by Mark Fisher. But Tech closer Steve Rowe got out of the jam by retiring the next two batters on a strikeout and a ground out.

The Red Raiders got four runs on four hits in the eighth to seal the victory.

Sooners center fielder Brandon Jones made a diving catch in the eighth inning to end Gera Alvarez's hitting streak at a school-record 30 games.

Buck (6-1) got the victory and Rowe got his seventh save. Austin Mix (4-5) was the loser.
