TULSA, Okla. (AP) _ Jason Jones hit a two-run RBI in a third-inning scoring surge as Tulsa beat Round Rock 6-2 in the first game of a Texas League doubleheader Friday night.

RBI-singles by Doug Garcia and Brett Cadiente and a sacrifice fly by Eddy Furniss provided three more runs for the five-run inning. Jones hit a sacrifice fly in fourth inning to wrap up scoring for Tulsa in the fourth inning.

Jason Alfaro's two-run homer in the seventh inning gave Round Rock its only runs.

Keith Stamler (1-1) allowed only three hits and struck out three in six innings for Tulsa.

Chad Qualls (0-2) suffered the loss, allowing five hits and six runs in three innings for Round Rock.
