TULSA, Okla. (AP) _ Michael Conner hit a grand slam home run in the Razorbacks' six-run first inning as Arkansas put Oral Roberts away early en route to a 14-0 win Tuesday night.
Arkansas (20-13) loaded the bases with nobody out in the first inning on two singles and a walk. Oral Roberts (23-11) starter David Humen then walked clean-up hitter Ryan Fox to force home the first run.
Layle Devilbliss relieved Humen and promptly surrendered the home run to Conner, making the score 5-0. The Razorbacks added another run in the inning and two more in the second on RBI singles by Nick Pitts and Fox.
Humen (2-1) allowed four runs on two hits while retiring no hitters in the loss. Scott Woods (5-0) struck out six Oral Roberts hitters in six shutout innings for the win.
