A woman chasing her dog across the street is in critical condition after being hit by a pickup.

It happened a little before 9 AM Tuesday on 161st street just west of Yale in Bixby. The woman, believed to be in her mid-40s was taken by helicopter to St Francis Hospital.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers have not released her name.
