(Arlington-AP) -- Seattle topped Texas 7-to-3 as ex-Ranger Ruben Sierra hit a grand-slam in his first at-bat against his former team in Arlington last night.

It was the fifth grand slam of Sierra's career. It gave the Mariners a 5-to-0 lead in the first inning that they never lost.

Jamie Moyer evened his mark at 1-and-1 with the win. Ismael Valdes falls to 0-and-2 for the hapless Rangers.
