NORMAN, Okla. (AP) _ Tim Moss had three hits and drove in three runs Sunday, as Texas beat Oklahoma 8-1 in the second game of a doubleheader.
The Longhorns (31-10, 9-6 Big 12) won the first game 8-2.
Curtis Thigpen hit a sacrifice fly to put Texas up 1-0 in the second game. The Longhorns extended their lead to three when Moss and Brandon Fahey drove in runs in the fifth.
Oklahoma (20-15, 8-7) scored its only run in the fifth, when Denver Kitch grounded out to score Matt Bose.
Texas added three runs in the sixth to make it 6-1. The Longhorns scored a run in the eighth and another in the ninth for the final margin.
Alan Bomer (5-2) went 7 1/3 innings for the victory, allowing five hits and one run. Jarod McAuliff (1-2) was the loser, allowing five runs in 5 2/3 innings.
Oklahoma used six pitchers in the game.
Jeff Ontiveros homered and drove in five runs in the first game. Ontiveros hit his 10th homer and also doubled. Ryan Hubele also had three hits.
Moss had two hits and two RBIs, and Omar Quintanilla and Michael Hollimon each had two hits.
Ryan Richardson hit two solo homers for Oklahoma.
Justin Simmons (10-0) went 7 2/3 innings for the victory, allowing six hits and striking out three. The loser was Curtis White (0-1), who gave up nine hits and seven runs in 3 2/3 innings.
