Drivers now have more options for alternative fuels to power their cars. Several manufacturers offer cars powered by electricity - that compare in cost to regular cars.
The State of Oklahoma is turning to 'alternative fuel' technology for their fleet. It saves money on fuel and helps out the environment. 'Alternative Fuel' vehicle driver, Steve Dwyer, "With the new technology, driving an alternative fuel vehicle is like driving your own car, the only difference is where you fuel."
Several gas/electric hybrid cars - that get 50 miles to the gallon - now sell for around $20,000.
