Tulsa Police robbery detectives have their hands full solving a pair of cases overnight. Police officers spotted a white SUV at Tulsa QuikTrip at 31st and 101st E. Avenue early Wednesday that matched the description at a robbery earlier in the night.
A woman told police two men robbed her at the nearby Meadows Apartments. She identified 2 suspects and they were arrested. Two others were released.
At the same time, a possible fifth suspect in that robbery hit a man in the back of the head and stole his wallet. The suspect ran off and Tulsa Police officers followed him to a creek near 31st and U.S. Highway 169.
The suspect was not been found, but police did find the wallet. The victim in that robbery was not seriously hurt.
And Tulsa Police are looking for a pair of suspects who robbed a man at an east Tulsa apartment complex overnight. The victim told police officers, he was getting out of his car early Wednesday at the Woodcreek Apartments in the 11100 block of East Cameron, when he was approached by two suspects who pointed laser beams at him.
The suspects took the man's wallet and then fled on foot.
Police are investigating if this robbery is related to an incident early Tuesday in the same neighborhood. Police officers say robbery of a nearby convenience store had a suspect using a laser.
