WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (AP) _ Stacy Prammanasudh struggled during Saturday's final round but still finished second overall and helped lead Tulsa to the title at the NCAA Central Regional women's golf tournament.
The Golden Hurricane finished with a 904 total, two strokes ahead of host Purdue. Texas was third at 910, followed by Oklahoma State and New Mexico State at 925.
The top eight teams qualified for the NCAA championships, which will be May 23-26 at Mission Inn Golf and Tennis Resort in Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla.
Oklahoma failed to qualify after finishing ninth, four strokes behind eighth-place California.
Prammanasudh, who began the day alone in first place, shot a 4-over 76, her worst round of the tournament. Her 218 total was 2 over par and left her two strokes behind medalist Kari Damron of Purdue. Damron shot a 71.
Prammanasudh has finished in the top 10 in nine of 10 tournaments this year, and has finished in the top five six times.
Suzie Fisher of Tulsa and Linda Wessberg of Oklahoma State tied for fourth at 224.
