TULSA, Okla. (AP) _ A Las Vegas woman who faced charges in her husband's death in Tulsa has died from lung cancer and pneumonia.

Patsy Jean Barbour, 69, died Tuesday night in Las Vegas, a spokesman for her Tulsa attorney said Wednesday.

Andrew ``Mac'' Barbour Jr., 57, was found dead in bed at his Tulsa home shortly after 2 a.m. on Feb. 12, 1980. He had been shot once in the head.

Patsy Barbour, also known as Patsy Woofter and Patsy Hardesty, was not charged until July 23, 1999, and faced first-degree murder charges at the time of her death.

Tulsa County District Judge Michael Gassett told attorneys Wednesday to submit her death certificate. Barbour attended court in a wheelchair in November.
