(Rhoads, Iowa-AP) -- Missouri had a six-stroke lead yesterday after the first round of the Big 12 women's golf tournament.
The Tigers posted a score of 319 on the recently opened Harvester course northeast of Des Moines.
Oklahoma State was second at 325 and Texas third at 330.
Missouri's Jamie Tucker shot a 76 for the individual lead, one stroke ahead of Oklahoma State's Maria Boden.
Linda Wessberg of Oklahoma State was third at 78.
Baylor was fourth in the team standings at 335 and was followed by Nebraska at 341, Texas Tech and Kansas State at 344, Texas A&M and Colorado at 346, Iowa State and Oklahoma at 351 and Kansas at 358.
The 54-hole tournament ends tomorrow
