COLLEGE STATION, Texas (AP) _ Justin Meccage threw a complete game to lead Oklahoma State past Texas A&M 9-4 on Sunday.
Meccage (3-0) held the Aggies to four runs on eight hits while striking out six.
A home run by Neal Stephenson gave Texas A&M a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the second.
Oklahoma State took the lead in the top of the fifth by scoring three runs on four hits. Paul Powell, Luke Scott and Jose Virgil all drove in a run in the inning, chasing Aggie starter Matt Farnum.
Farnum (4-4) was charged with all three runs on seven hits while striking out five and walking two.
The Aggies cut the Cowboys' lead to 3-2 in the bottom of the fifth on a sacrifice fly by Eric Reed that brought Ryan Wardinsky home.
The Cowboys came back with five runs in the top of the sixth.
Scott cleared the bases with a bases-loaded double and Virgil hit a two-run home run to make the score 8-2.
