NORMAN, Okla. (AP) _ Oklahoma scored three runs in the eighth inning to beat Texas Tech 6-5 on Saturday.
The victory snaps Oklahoma's six-game losing skid and ends Texas Tech's nine-game winning streak.
Oklahoma (16-27, 10-13 Big 12) trailed 5-3 in the eighth when Sergio Garcia singled to bring home Jerome Godsey. Sean Smith's RBI single tied the game at 5.
Charlie Frasier's two-out RBI single brought home Garcia and put the Sooners up for good.
Texas Tech (31-15, 14-9) scored all of its runs from home runs.
Austin Cranford had a solo shot in the first. Kerry Hodges drove in two runs with a homer in the second and Chad Landry had a two-run blast in the fourth.
Mark Roberts (1-2) pitched 1 2/3 innings of relief ball, striking out four batters and allowing no runs.
Chris Phillips (10-3) allowed 10 hits and six earned runs in 7 1/3 innings of work.
