(College Station-AP) _ A grand slam by Travis Wong helped push Texas A-and-M to a 9-to-6 win over Oklahoma State today.
Trailing by four with one run already across in the bottom of the fifth and the bases loaded, Wong drove the first pitch he saw from O-S-U reliever Shane Hawk over left-center field to tie the score at five.
A solo homer by Rusty Meyer in the bottom of the sixth and a three-run home run over center by Greg Porter gave A-and-M a 9-to-5 lead.
Chris French took over for Aggie starter Todd Deininger with the bases loaded in the top of the fifth and allowed just one run on two hits in just over four innings.
Jake Bollig and Jose Virgil each had two R-B-Is for the Cowboys.
Shane Hawk got the loss. Hawk surrendered all three of the Aggie homers while being charged with six runs, five earned, on six hits.
