(Dallas-AP) -- A news service called My News is being launched by media company Belo Corporation and messaging firm Strategy-dot- com.

The service will deliver local news over e-mail, the Internet, cell phones and fax machines.

Consumers will get personalized news headlines, technology, sports and business news.

Belo says a fee will be charged for My News once it moves out of a test phase and across 21 Web sites.

The monthly fee has not been determined.

Dallas-based Belo has Web sites in Texas, Washington, Rhode Island, Arizona, California, Missouri, Oregon, North Carolina and Virginia.
