(London-AP) -- Elvis fans won't be happy to hear this one.
The ``King'' has been edged out by Frank Sinatra in a poll of the top 100 of the 20th century's greatest voices.
The British Broadcasting Corporation survey was compiled using a variety of data, including listener votes along with a panel of singers and music experts.
Nat ``King'' Cole followed Elvis in third place. The fourth and fifth spots belong to jazz great Ella Fitzgerald and crooner Bing Crosby, respectively.
The earliest artist to make the top 100 is opera legend Enrico Caruso, who came in at 74. The top Briton on the list is the late John Lennon of the Beatles, who ranks number six.
